Leslie Leonard Cooke

In 1914, as World War One began, Leslie Cooke wrote the following songs with Fred Godfrey: Au Revoir, Sweet Marie!; Good Luck, Little French Soldier Man; and When An Irishman Goes Fighting (with Shaun Glenville). In 1915 came There’s Something In The Irish After All (with Glenville). Around the same time, though the date has not yet been determined, Cooke and Godfrey also wrote Just An Ordinary Home.
